The King is BACK!!!!! Leo Laporte is the most beloved Talent at TechTV, and he just got back from 2 weeks of vacation. Leo we missed you!!!! There are an awful lot of geeks out there that owe alot to Leo, he's taught many of us so much more then we could ever express in words! Leo is a one of a kind TV host, one that actually cares about his fans, and is knowledgable and entertaining all at the same time. It feels like he's been gone forever, and all of us that hang out at Leoville have been whining the whole time, myself included. I hope he's happy with his new home and that he got at least some rest during his "vacation" Leo's fans are very loyal and will always follow and support him, which reminds me to tell everyone that James Fintel's origonal Support Laporte is coming back, better than ever!!!

I think Scott Herriott is the most underused personality in all of TV today!! That said, I'm very glad that Scott got quite alot of time on The Screen Savers during Leo's absence. I just hope they don't lock him back in the basement when Leo gets back! Scott has called TechTV home for quite awhile, and I think he'll stay there alot longer. It's a great place for him to show off his comedic talent, and although I miss seeing him on new episodes of Internet Tonight, I think The Screen Savers is a better forum for him in the comedic sense, meaning that while he was funny on IT, it was mostly just his humouros personality, but on TSS he gets to do what could actually be considered a "routine" and show off his adlibbing and interactivity skills, such as on his top 5 list tonight about defunct webbie nominees, when martin said "i used to play an arcade game called beserk" Scott responded "yeah well that has nothing to do with THIS" that was classic Herriott!!! My email interview with Scott is available at www.techtvtechies.com and this very website, just click on "Articles" on the main page! Scott was a very good sport for this interview, and is a great talent!!!

Let's talk about Megan! I like Megan alot. She's very geeky, has a pleasant on-air demeanor, and a beautiful smile! She's every geek's dream girl. She brings us all a free download every day, as well as keeping the website up-to-date realtime. She even has an evil twin, Megan Evilrone!!! How cool is that? She wears various geeky t-shirts that fans send to her too. She's always quick with a witty comment and since appearing when The Screen Savers expanded, she's blossomed into a great talented live television personality who has no problems with add-libbing or goofing off on camera! There have been alot of fan's who'd love to see Megan have a big role in a Macintosh show for TechTV, I think that would be very cool, kinda like a Mac show with more "ooomph!"

Jessica Jessica Jessica, what can I say about Jessica? Jessica is a wonderfully smart, sassy attractive lady who brings us the Web Site of the Night, an extremely mission critcial job! She also puts together the show notes, which is something I look foward to recieving as much as my Lockergnome newsletters! She has been on the air regularly on The Screen Savers since they expanded to 90 minutes. Twice a show Leo, Pat, or Martin walk across the studio to "the nook" where Jessica resides, along with the other femme fatale- Megan. I've seen alot of new Screen Savers fans since the expansion, and I'm sure Jessica is a major reason why!

The first person I'll talk about is that new guy, Chris Pirllo. Chris has been writing Lockergnome, his newsletters, for years. He's pretty widely respected among the geeks of the world, and has a fresh distinctive writing style that I certainly envy. He's no Leo Laporte yet, but he's well on the way. One of the best things about Chris is that he's really appreciative of his fans, he's even been known to send thank-you emails to people who say nice things about him on Leoville's Message Board, where it's been really crazy because of Leo being on vacation. Chris even helped me decide the name of this site. Thanks Gnomie!! The only idea I have for Chris right now, is that he really should be moved to TSS as soon as he's gotten a little bit of experience, hopefully by then TSS will be in its proper place of an 8 hour time slot (there's ALOT of talent on that show!!!

Here is where I'll post my thoughts and opinions about TechTV's huge pool of on-air talent
