ok todays comments are about yesterdays "canada day" tss show. oh hell this show was an instant classic. maybe just because i'm half canadian, but its gotta be in my top ten favorite episodes now!it was real good seeing scott and micheala on the same set again too, its been way too long. tss just has that perfect blend of information and humour, a very unique sense of humour too.leo and pat's canadian jokes may have been a little silly, but that helps the show. i haven't gotten to watch TechTV that much lately as i've been remodeling the school, but that is nearly done

wow it's been a long time since i've been able to update, i'll explain a little more in my personal blog. todays techtv brought two words to mind - code red. i dunno anybody who runs iis is strange anyway, just run apache!! as of now the code red worm is searching for new people to bite, i hope tripod isn't running iis, hehehehe. it would be pretty funny if they did, and STILL haven't applied the patch!

It was good to see Leo on Techlive earlier, but TSS was a repeat, that's ok because it's Friday and that means that Dvorak gets to talk to people face to face rather than via moniters, it's 100x better on Fridays, I don't see why they messed with the show in the begining! Dvorak is nothing short of a legend, without him there would be no specialized technology press. I have utmost respect for him and feel he's underused, but he probably doesn't want to work TOO much!

mmmm....red spikes!! How "daring", Jessica! I loved the close up look at Defcon, Patrick looked like he had a blast! tonight has belonged to the Webbies more than anyone with even Scott Herriott making his last top 5 list before Leo comes back about Webby Nominiees. I think I'll do to entries on both Megan and Scott in my On-Air personalities section tonight, tommorow is Leo day so I'll be sure to put an extra special entry tommorow as well as some of the articles I wrote for www.leolaporte.org

Man Martin looks sharp!!! Lucky guy getting to go to the Webbies with Jessica! I'm also excited to hear more about Defcon, and Macworld. I'll post more complete comments here later!

Well it's about halfway through Call for Help. Becky has been absent from the show alot, that's ok I like Phil too, but he needs to loosen up a little, I think working with Chris can't help but help though! I wonder what Becky has been up to in her times off the show? I thoroughly enjoyed Chis's talk with the Mr Power about DOS attacks, it was an interesting and informative segment, one of the best I've seen Chris do yet!! Now that I've been getting Chris's Lockergnome newsletters I've been reading them as they get delivered to my inbox, usually between 1am and 5am, when I can't sleep , it's really informative and entertaining!

geez Matt Markovich and Stacey Tisdale together make for a pretty good segment, I love Stacey's voice and I think Markovich is great, especially when talking about Microsoft, I think he knows something about Microsoft he's not telling anyone esle, though. As much as I like the other TechLive anchors, I can't wait for Leo, who's gonna be back tommorow!!!! well that's my thoughts for now, I'll try to post some thoughts on today's Call for Help and will post about tonights The Screen Savers for sure!

You know Martin has improved alot on his monologs alot in the time without Leo, and Patrick has been getting more and more personable. Live music is something that adds to any live show, I love it when The Screen Savers has live music! I thought the guests were pretty good too, but Leo will be back Thursday and that's the real news.

Thes Screen Savers...one of the few reasons to own a TV! I was glad to see Scott doing another Top 5 list, nothing beats his deadbeat/manic sort of humour! I also enjoyed the segment with Dave Mathews, which reminds me that I was supposed to interview Dave via Email for one of the sites I write for, hopefully I can get that ball rolling tonight. I was also glad to see UGM 3.1 on the show, and it was a good place for Yoshi to get some needed air time! It must be hell being a producer on that show! How could you decide who to give time to? Well I'll put more of my thoughts after the repeats as I was doing my laundry during the live broadcast, so I missed parts of it. I always watch the reruns anyway, I'm always on the computer and usually realize I'm watching infomercials because I was too busy on my computer to notice they were on!!

Nice Call for Help so far, I enjoyed seeing Stacey and The Gnomester interacting so much, it's good experience for him. It still seems like Becky is going to beat the crap out of him any second though! That's OK I think it's sorta what they're going for. I'm looking foward to tonight's The Screen Saver's I think the other talent is developing quite nicely in Leo's absence, especially Martin and Pat! The day after tommorow Leo witll be back!!!!!! I've missed him alot, it seems like its been months...well I'll post later, probably while The Screen Saver's is on. Gotta do laundry!!!

I do want to say i'm glad they've been covering defcon 9 though, theres heat in that desert this time of year...

TechLive - Hours upon hours of repeated stories about Napster, hackers and the like....

I thought I'd let you know a few of my ideas; I plan on making 3 or 4 different blogs, one for personal use, one for dialy thoughts on TechTV, one for articles and maybe more, i'm downloading some software called Trellixweb, to see if that will be an easy way to get this started
